Zinc saver STERLING ProSafe

The ZINCSAVER protects the yacht from galvanic corrosion,
when there is an electric current in the harbor.
The unit is light, small, inexpensive and simple to install:

Function:
The Zinc Saver is installed between the onboard grounding and the protective
grounding of the shore connection. Thus the system can be separated from the
shoreside grounding system, the onboard grounding remains as a safety ground
(to protect people) always (as prescribed in the CE guidelines).

The use of zinc anodes in harbor can greatly reduce ggf., because the sacrificial zinc anodes
no longer have to protect the metal from neighboring yachts and the whole marina (thus the name "zinc saver").

Two available designs:
Model ZS30A without capacitor,
Model ZS30C with 25000 uF/2.5 V capacitor. The capacitor makes it certain that no minimal
residual AC voltage is in contact opposite the Landerdung (approved following the American ABYC standard).
