DIE EWER DER NIEDERELBE / Szymanski
The classic title "Der Ever der Niederelbe" (the Ewer of the Lower
Elbe) is finally available again, as a reprint of the 1985

handbook, which meticulously describes the technical and
occasionally also sociological peculiarities of small-boat
cruising in the north German lower river Elbe region.

first appearance in 1932 (as volume 9 of the "Sources and
Depictions of Hanseatic history"), this book has been the standard
for all who are concerned with the building, restoration, working,
or researching of ewers or similar small sailboats.
The
extensive text is supplemented with numerous illustrations,
charts, and tables.

Voyaging".
