GRABIT boathook fitting DAVEY

This classy, heavy boathook fitting allows simple and secure grabbing of life rings and buoys.
High-quality cast aluminum bronze, lavishly built and hand-polished.

The fitting has two parts:
The sleeve is screwed on a wooden boathook stave (from D = 35 mm). Hooks with larger
openings have the attachment line spliced to the ring (D = 25 mm). So long as the hook
sits on the sleeve, the safety remains open. After hooking the buoy, the hook is released
from the stave and the boat is securely attached to the mooring.
The included cotter pin allows it to be used as a fixed boathook.
