Fog horn

Replica of the Swedish TYFON, formerly used aboard tall ships.
With a beautifully made, heavy brass cylinder and funnel placed on a varnished mahogany footplate, this horn is not only a safety-related (as a reserve) gear for large ships, but also a maritime piece of art.
The loud and deep signal is produced on both the in and out pump movements. Quicker pumping therefore creates a continuous tone.
The brass diaphragm can be retuned.
