Red LED hand flare ODEO FLARE MK3
The ODEO flare illuminates with a ring of 21 LEDs for about 5
hours at full all around illumination, while traditional
flares will only shine for about 30 seconds.
Because it uses LEDs instead of pyrotechnics, the Odeo
Flare is completely safe when switched off, and because it uses
battery power, it can even be safely posted or carried in the
luggage on flights.
Originally developed for maritime use, is it simply to utilise
and to handle - at any outdoor activity: sailing,
hiking, mounteneering, skiing, kiting and on expeditions.
The batteries are included and have a shelf life of more than
10 years.
