Hydrostatic switch

Water-pressure release for liferafts or EPRIB buoys.
Releases the safety gear when a ship sinks.
A pyrotechnic charge severs the line or locking pin at water depths of 1.5 to 4 meters, allowing the liferaft (or EPRIB buoy) to float free.
SOLAS approved (wheelmark) 0062. Authorization period 2 years.
