Release for backstay lever HIGHFIELD DAVEY

Optional addition to the backstay lever turnbuckle (Highfield lever No. 1) made by the traditional British manufacturer DAVEY & Co.
The release mechanism allows the backstay wire to be unhooked simply from the deck fitting and allows exact fine-tuning of the backstay length.
The entire fitting is made from bronze, polished to a high shine.

The complete fitting is not only robust hand-made quality, but also, together with the turnbuckle, a piece of art on any deck.
