Rope yarns are knotted by hand on a doubled line (tarred polypropylene) in thousand-foot-braidsThen stays, shrouds or topping lifts can be wrapped onboard.

A running meter of this chafe guard yields approx. 25 cm onboard (for wires with 14 mm diameters).
