KOBELT MIGHTY MARINER engine control

The MIGHTY MARINER is a highly modern electronic engine control system for one or two
engine systems, developed by Canadian specialist KOBELT for recreational and professional mariners.
The console control units are made of bronze, with a polished or chromed finish, but can be delivered with
white or black protectant.

With these compact unit you can connect up to four helm stations. A complete syste consists of
- one (or more) control units per steering station (as standard, for example, KOBELT CONTROL HEAD 6505)
and an
- actuator (ACTUATOR 6227) for each engine.
The actuator controls the throttle and gear with conventional push-pull cables, so that the engine controls do not have to be modified.

Special features of MIGHTY MARINER:
- Microprocessor controlled
-Simple communication between components via a CAN bus.
- Connections are of easy-to-use data cable (must be ordered separately).

The length of the data cable can go to 40 meters. Thus it is it is also intended for large yachts with long shifting runs.
Integrated functions that can be used from every steering station:
- Precise shifting,
- Switching delay for throttle and gears,
- Warm-up function,
- Idle shifter as stop,
- Station stops,
- Temperature und cable self-monitoring.

The installation of a twin-engine synchronization is possible. A sensor pair for two engines is an optional accessory.

The actuator can be operated by hand during a power failure.
Comes complete with attachment kit for conventional Type 33 push-pull cable, but without connection cable.
The unit is CE certified. Runs on 24 Volt current.

The use of a DC / DC converter (rectifier) is highly recommended, even with a 24 V system, in order to ensure a uniform and secure power supply to the processor without power peaks.
A minimum of 10A power output is required.
