These polished-bronze straight-line vertical winches from the Australian Manufacturer MUIR are distinguished by their compact construction, precise manufacture and light weight, as well as their versatility:
- Combination chain wheel to retrieve chain and rope (8 mm chain/14 mm rope or 10 mm chain/16 mm rope).
- Foladable hawsepipe allows the chain to fall directly into the chain locker.
-The winches can be used with any standard winch handle (a simple MUIR 8-inch plastic handle comes with the windlass).
- The chain runs over a conical brake.
