Beautiful compact two-gear hand-cranked bronze windlass.
Axles, pawls and screws made from stainless steel.
The heavy, traditional hand wheel (diameter 300 mm) with swing spokes and large foldable handle makes retrieval easy.
Gear changes and uncoupling through shifting the drive axle.
Control of the chain while easing comes through use of the foot brake.
Pulling force:
1st gear: 450 daN
2nd gear: 600 daN.
Hoisting speed:
1st gear: 6 cm / revolution
2nd gear: 10 cm / revolution.
