In the case of heating appliances that run on wood, coal, heating oil or gas, CO can escape into the room air if they are insufficiently maintained, improperly installed or if the flue is blocked. The life-threatening gas cannot be seen, smelled or tasted!

The CO detector from KIDDE warns you with a loud alarm signal if carbon monoxide escapes. The alarm is triggered in relation to the measured CO concentration in the room air (in accordance with EN50291). This means: timely warning of CO concentrations that can lead to unconsciousness and death within a short time. Additional safety is provided by the X10-D model, which shows a CO concentration in the room air from 30 ppm on a digital display. A peak value memory ensures that a CO leak is reliably displayed even after a long period of absence
