Type-tested and approved by the BSH (Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency Germany).
Equipment regulation according to KVR/COLREG, regulation 33a:
- All vessels over 100 m carry a gong in addition to the bell (with a diameter of at least 300 mm).
The gong is used to give fog signals at anchor.
Diameter 500 mm, total weight 4.2 kg.
