BENAR-Oil is a special product for the conservation of woods, for the interior and outside. Originally developed for tropical hard woods, BENAR-Oil stood the test of time for the treatment of all woods on board. BENAR-ÖL means moisture release, long oil and high gloss wood treatment. It provides a varnish finish effect with very high penetration and breathing properties, allowing humidity to be released without peeling off and to move together with breathable wood without cracking. Substrate to be dry and free of contamination. To be applied over newly sanded surface or on old surfaces previously coated with BENAR MARINE in good condition.

BENAR-Oil GLOSSY is a slow-hardening wood-protectant (without fungicide) withbreathable finish, similar to varnish.It provides for an exceptionally long lasting interval before reconditioning. Sanding before repeating coats is not necessary.

For a new conserving protection, 4 coats are recommended.
Yield: 14-16m.sq./l.

If a matt finish is desired when preserving wood with BENAR-OIL, apply BENAR-OIL MATTE as the final coat.
For soft and light-sensitive timbers and horizontal surfaces outdoors, that are directly exposed to the sun, we recommend BENAR-ÖL UVR or BENAR-ÖL MARINE.
Wood susceptible to fungi should be pretreated with our fungicidal impregnating oil IMP.
