Compact varnished-ash blocks with bronze sheaves from a series made by the British traditional manufacturer DAVEY. Single bronze sheave blocks in an attractive rounded form, re-created from the English style of the 1920s.
From a technical standpoint, these blocks meet modern standards: The stainless steel bearings and swivel are constructed in such a way that they demonstrate exceptionally high breaking loads. The bronze sheaves, which are larger in relation to the housing than on other blocks, guarantee in combination with the above-average sized axis good action. Highlight: The stainless steel axis is secured with a screw, so that the block can be taken apart easily for maintenance and overhaul.
We carry all sizes of this block with or without becket. Fiddle blocks, swivel and strop blocks are also available.
