Racing snap-shackle with large swivel eye. Because of its closed eye, it's well suited for spinnaker an genoa sheets.
Manufactured from high-tensile stainless steel (material: 1.4542). WICHARD distinctions: Resistant to high loads (HR). Can be opened easily under load: by hand, with a marlin spike or with a tether.

The French forge WICHARD stands for the highest quality and safeness now for more than one hundred years. Many racing sailors are deeply convinced of the reliability of WICHARD products and have kept developing those in close cooperation wit the the forge for decades.

The maximum sensible working load (WL) in the sailing sector is approximately 50 % of the specified breaking load (BRL). See also the WICHARD brochure below under Downloads & Information.
