The original from Sweden! The WINDEX secret is the precisely balanced wind vane, mounted on low-friction bearings and easy to read thanks to adjustable angle arms.
The vane and arms are reflective from below (WINDEX 10, 15 and XL), a small lighting unit is also available as an accessory and a BIRD SPIKE is available for the WINDEX 15 to prevent birds from landing.
The WINDEX wind indicators not only differ in size, but also have different brackets:
- WINDEX 6: the smallest wind indicator in the WINDEX series. It is ideal for dinghies and small multihulls. With its rubber cable holder, it can be mounted at any height on masts or bowsprits with a diameter of 45-70 mm. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically and the WINDEX 6 can be removed again very quickly after use.
- WINDEX DINGHY: supplied with a stainless steel bracket for side mounting on the mast.
- WINDEX 10: The plastic bracket can be mounted on the side of the mast as well as on the top of the mast.
- WINDEX 15 and WINDEX XL: the bracket is mounted on the top of the mast.
