JON BUOY Rescue Sling

The Jonbuoy Rescue Sling offers the function of the classic, horseshoe-shaped rescue sling with a small pack size.

Stowed either in the soft case or the hard case, the Rescue Sling is attached to the railing. There it is hardly noticeable due to its small dimensions and attractive design.

In a person-overboard emergency, the rescue sling in its soft or hard case is thrown into the water. Due to its weight, accurate throwing is possible up to a distance of more than 30 metres. On contact with water, the sling inflates automatically and the person in the water can fold it over.

This gives the injured person important buoyancy and makes them much more visible in the water.

The signal yellow fabric is equipped with reflective stripes to additionally improve visibility even in the dark (by illuminating).

With the 36-metre-long floating line, the injured person can be pulled back to the ship. The safe working load is 175 kg.

In addition, an emergency light (Article-No. 3213-024) can be added to the rescue sling. After the Horseshoe Rescue Sling has been released, it can be made ready for use again with a 33g CO2 cartridge with screw thread (Article-No. 3214-119).
