Two-sheaved fiddle block, with  fixed bracket. Built of saltwater-proof hardened "tufnol" fabric, with fittings made of stainless-steel. These blocks are maintenance-free and known for their long lives. The sheaves are finished with brass bearings, greatly reducing wear and friction. These blocks are particularly good for classic yachts of the 50s and 60s and are ideally suited for universal working blocks.

The high breaking loads have been tested by Germanischen Lloyd (GL). The maximum working load specified by the manufacturer is 50% of the breaking load (BRL).

Beware: Because the lower sheave has a very small diameter, violin blocks are intended only for very thin ropes.
The given rope diameters (D1) are maximum diameters, with thinner ropes working better.
