IMP is a deeply penetrating colourless wood impregnation, made from a desiccating Alkyd resin oil. Due to the excellent penetration capabilities of IMP, it acts prophylactic against blue fungicide, fouling and fungal infestations when the wood is saturated, because oxygen and moisture is displaced.
Free of PCP and PCB and other labelled agents it is free of health hazards.
Intended as a saturation base layer, for example, for BENAR oils and other single-part coatings. Also well suited as a breathable single coating (silk matt finish), for example, for spars and masts.
Coverage: 3-6 m.sq./l.
