Cleats & Stoppers
Sometimes when sailing, lines must be tied up very quickly. Fittings like cam cleats and stoppers are sometimes more suitable than traditional cleats and very common on dinghies and small to medium-sized boats. Cam cleats consist of two shoes with teeth on the inside. Cam cleats, in Germany often called Curry cleats, are designed for quick fastening and releasing of sheets and stretchers.
