Hardly any seabed sediments stick to the chain's smooth surface. In addition, stainless steel chains fall easily and collect nicely in the chain locker. For connecting anchor and chain, jaw and eye shackles or swivel shackles are recommended. So, when catching up the anchor, the chain cannot twist and runs into the chain sprocket without problems. When anchoring, it is also advisable to relieve the capstan. For this purpose, a rope chain stopper can be attached using a chain hook or chain gripper.
