Commercial shipping needs reliable ropes for the highest demands. The fishing industry relies on high-strength, floatable Danline hawsers. … resistance. Perlon ropes are frequently used on working vessels. The Perlon ropes, also available as Squareline, are not floatable. Due to their high strength and elasticity, they are well suited for anchor lines or tow lines. Floatable mooring lines made of PPM fibres are extremely supple lines used in commercial shipping. Made of multifilament polypropylene fibres, these three strand black dock lines do not tend to harden even after long use. They offer a good price-performance ratio.
