We love beautiful ships. And our customers around the world benefit from this every day. Because with our special and large range of equipment parts for ships of all kinds, we can fulfil almost every wish. We have more than 15,000 items in stock at our warehouse in Hamburg. We can procure everything else through our worldwide network of suppliers.

Our customers are sailors, water sports enthusiasts, blue water and round-the-world sailors, ship lovers, yacht or dinghy owners. Or they come from the trades, industry, boat and shipbuilding, shipyards, authorities and shipping companies. We supply the most beautiful sailing yachts in the world, provide support and advice, and accompany new builds and restorations.

Whether hobby or commercial shipping: from dinghies and cruising yachts to harbour tugs and cruise ships, we equip ships with (technical) equipment parts.

Many orders reach us via our online shop, which we manage in-house and continually develop. We also accept orders by telephone, email or in store and provide detailed advice about our products. Our quotation department takes care of special inquiries from commercial shipping. Purchasing also ensures that our warehouse in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld is always sufficiently stocked. This means that incoming orders can be packed and sent to customers on the same day. Our annual TOPLICHT catalog is almost cult and is created independently. We constantly monitor the market and look for new products that can fit our range.

A suitable background, technical understanding and sailing or boat building experience are therefore a prerequisite for joining us.

Our areas of responsibility are diverse, be it in consulting and sales, in procurement, in the warehouse or in the maintenance and support of the online shop and the printed catalog. In any case, you should be enthusiastic about providing good customer advice and have the desire to offer our customers solutions with our products. You will always receive comprehensive training and product training and further education are not neglected.

TOPLICHT is a solidly built and internationally renowned family business in a growing future market and a special industry. Flexible working hours are standard for us, regardless of whether it is the number of hours per week or the distribution over individual days. Arriving late or leaving early is possible at any time in consultation with the team. There is a lot to do during the high season from March to July, which means that you sometimes have to work overtime, but this can be compensated for with free time in the winter months. We support our employees with travel allowances and participate in company pension schemes. Of course there is coffee, fruit and tea and someone regularly brings something to nibble or snack on.

We work at height-adjustable desks in open-plan offices, which are sometimes busy, but there is also a lot of exchange. There are covered bicycle parking spaces in the yard and a shower in the basement. Employees receive discounts on the TOPLICHT range - most of them are sailors or ship owners themselves. In our wooden offices there is a pleasant working atmosphere with flat hierarchies and a lot of good humor in a friendly team that gets along well outside of working hours. We regularly grill together on the roof terrace or go through the Ottensen bars.

We are a 2nd generation family business, but the third generation already has their playpen and toys in the office and is regularly on site. We therefore have a particularly good understanding of the compatibility of work and family. For this we were awarded the Hamburg seal for family-friendly companies.
