Self-igniting, LED electric night light for lifebuoys for position marking at dusk / darkness.
The MARINER lifebuoy light, approved according to SOLAS/MED, has been specially developed for connection to a lifebuoy for position marking during search and rescue operations in twilight / darkness and also functions safely on water covered with fuel or oil.
The emergency light is activated automatically after the device is thrown overboard by raising it in the water. The drop height is tested up to 60 m (SOLAS requires only 30 m).
High-quality components such as a robust plastic float, a brass battery tube, as well as a switching relay with tilt switch and a special bulb guarantee a safe function and long durability. For decades, this quality product "Made in Germany" from PyroPol has proven itself in worldwide use.
The MARINER life buoy light shines with a luminous intensity of at least 2 candela.
For mounting on board, two types of brackets are available as accessories (see also matching articles).
Comes complete with 3 x 1.5 Volt LR20 DURACELL alkaline mono cells.
