FISH'N'SHIPS. A summer of sailing around England and Scotland.

Photographer and Baltic Sea sailor Christian Irrgang is embarking on a new sailing adventure in the summer of 2022. He will take just under five months to sail his OBLOMOW from the Baltic Sea around England and Scotland.

Sometimes as a solo sailor, sometimes with friends, he explores the British waters. From the Thames upwards, his sailing trip runs along England's south coast. He visits the Isles of Scilly with its Caribbean flair and then sets off in the direction of Dublin and Belfast through the stormy Irish Sea. His voyage takes him all the way to Scotland, and on the way back he just escapes a storm in the North Sea - just one of many challenges on this trip!

The travelogue from on board the OBLOMOW describes and shows in impressive photos the fascinating, unique British coasts, currents and tides. Cream tea in Cornwall and nights in rustic pubs were just as much a part of the 2,800-mile trip as small sleepy coastal villages, lively big cities and plenty of interesting encounters on the sandy beaches of the Isles of Scilly to Loch Ness.
